Communicate: Communicate is an area within a course that contains links to various communication tools that the student may use within the course. Tools include:
Dialogue! and Discussion.

Shortcuts: Access each lesson's Dialogue!, Discussion, Notes, or Topic Content for all courses for which you are registered.

Syllabus: Entry point into course content, gained by clicking on any topic within a lesson. Access the course's lessons and all of the topics within those lesson(s).

Bookmark

| |
By clicking the bookmark link, the current place within the course will be saved. Upon the next login to the course, the bookmarked page will automatically appear. To set a bookmark within course content:
1. Go to the Syllabus button located in left-hand navigation panel
2. Enter course content by clicking on a lesson's topic
3. For the page to be bookmarked, click bookmark icon located near the top of the page

CE Test

| |
All CE tests are located within course content pages, usually in the Post Test lesson. To access the CE Test:
1. Go to the Syllabus button located in left-hand navigation panel
2. Click on Post Test
3. Click the CE Test icon located in the toolbar near the top of the page or the CE Test link in the page
4. View question-related topics while solving the test by clicking the topic icon provided left of each question.
5. Submit the CE Test for evaluation by clicking Submit button.

Dialogue!

This interactive tool allows for near real-time communication with other course participants.
Dialogue! can be entered from within course content or by the left-hand navigation panel.
Via course content:
1. Go to the Syllabus button located in lefthand navigation panel
2. Enter a lesson by clicking on a topic
3. Click the Dialogue! icon located in the toolbar near the top of the page
4. Add comments in the box at the bottom of the screen and click S (send)
5. To refresh the board, click R (refresh)

Via navigation panel:
1. Click on the Communicate button
2. Click Dialogue!

To change and modify refresh time, click Profile button located in left-hand navigation panel. Upon clicking Profile button, you will see your profile page, scroll down the page to see Dialogue! Refresh Rate, then select the time in seconds from drop-down list and click Modify button located at the bottom of page.

Discussion

| |
Discussion allows course participants, including moderators, to submit topics or subjects as the basis for discussion. Participants can provide responses to any of the posted subjects and any participant can come up any subject related to course.
A course moderator has the authority to edit or remove any and all subjects and/or related responses if needed.
To access a discussion group via course content:
1. Go to the Syllabus button located in left-hand navigation panel
2. Enter a lesson by clicking on a topic to discuss
3. Click the Discussion icon located in the toolbar near the top of the page
To access a discussion group via navigation panel:
1. Click Communicate button located in left-hand navigation panel
2. Click Discussion
3. Select a lesson by clicking lesson title
4. Type your message in a box and click Add
To Participate:
To post a discussion subject, type text in the input box provided at the bottom of the screen. Click add.
To view responses for a discussion subject, click the folder to the left of the subject. Upon clicking the link, all responses will be viewable.
To add a response, you must first view responses to a subject. To do so, click the folder to the left of the subject. Type text in the input box provided at the bottom of the screen. Click add.

Exercises

Exercises include process pieces and worksheets written by instructor to enhance the learning experience.
To access:
1. Go to the Syllabus button located in left navigation panel
2. Enter a lesson by clicking on a topic
3. Click the exercise icon located in the toolbar near the top of the page, exercises will come up in new window which you can close by clicking Close button.

Faculty Bio

Faculty Bio includes background information about the author of the course. This information can include the author's contact information as well.

FAQ

| |
FAQ's include supplemental course information, contained within Resources. To access: Click Resources button from left-hand navigation panel
and click FAQs.
FAQ's also are technical, content, and general questions that assist in the navigation of e-Campus.

Feedback

| |
Click on this icon to send feedback, comments, and questions for e-Campus authors, technical support, and general purposes.
|
Glossary

| |
The glossary is a course's collection of terms and their definitions, contained within Resources.
|
Internet Links

| |
An internet link is link to an external website from within the course. This link is supplemental course information, contained within Resources.
|
Location

| |
Click on this icon (located on each course's content pages) to note your progress in that particular course.
|
Next Prev

| |
Use the next and previous buttons to navigate through the course. The buttons are located at the end of the page, before Other Topics.
|
Notes

| |
Course participants can create notes in their own personalized notebooks for the course. This is private information, available only to the participant anytime he/she is logged into the course. These virtual notebooks are course-specific. A participant can add, delete notes at anytime. Each note entry made is tagged with a creation date.

Overview

| |
Course participants can view the course learning objectives, description, and lessons for each course by clicking on Overview at the top of the page.
|
References

| |
References contain supplemental, course-related information the course participant can seek out; they are located in Resources on the left-hand nav bar during the course. References can include books, videos, magazines, and journals.

Syllabus

| |
Entry point into course content, gained by clicking on any topic within a lesson. Access the course's lessons and all of the topics within those lesson(s).

Texts

| |
Additional material (books, articles, supplemental information) required in the completion of a course.
